Although we can’t offer any details about when you might see a new product like this, we can assure you that our Sound Off users will be among the first to know if we offer one in the future. Appreciate the feedback on batteries! They are an easy item to overlook, but very important. First, batteries have to be placed next to the starter to provide maximum current. Also, customers have told us over the years that the batteries typically only need to be be accessed at periodic maintenance intervals and we think they’re in the right spot to address that need. However, we’re always looking for ways to improve our single-side ground-level serviceability while also recognizing the potential for theft — so we’ll continue to monitor the situation and customer input.
