Build a reversed Dozer so you sit right behind the blade.
Everyone says the visibility of a dozer is critical not only for safety but also for precision working ability. Build a dozer that is like a Snow Cat grooming machine. You would have amazing visibility and if you need the weight that the engine provides in the front, you could put it in the back and bring the finals to the front while bringing obviously your drive motors and such forward as well. The transmission or pumps would stay toward the center of the machine as they are now. Not only would it be one of a kind it would… more

Thanks for the feedback! We certainly like the idea of becoming a “pioneer in the world of dozers.” Which dozer models are you currently using? Can you tell us a bit more about what you like or dislike about your current product?

Joe, thanks for the idea. Is there a specific machine you’re talking about? What servicing issues can we improve?

Michael – We hear you on this. Rest assured that we do collect and route all feedback to our product engineers. We’ve been working on some new features for the site that will allow us to process and respond to feedback more quickly and create a more engaging experience for visitors. You should start seeing these over the next few weeks, so we hope you will continue to contribute to the site. Your feedback on both our equipment and on the Sound Off website is always appreciated.
As for the email issue, you make a great point. We will look into including that in our updates so that customers can communicate privately and securely. If this will keep the feedback flowing, we’re willing to try it out. Thanks. again, Michael.

put the aux. hyd. lines inside the frame like a Bobcat to protect them
The extenally mounted aux. hyd. lines and couplers/ bracket are always in the way and get damaged. I have cuaght the coupler bracket many times on shed rafters when stacking bales or pallets. Ran a new Bobcat they put everything inside the boom frame and couplers up front on the face really liked that lay out.

full power turning
make it so one of the tracks don't have to stop to turn so you don't loose traction turning when pushing or pulling hard

Improve the EH hydrulics and engine air filter precleaner
My 332D hydrulic and drive controls are way to slow to react. I payed alot of money to get joysticks and wish I now would have not. First thing every thing is extremly slow at lower engine speeds. I dont't want the engine at 2800 RPM for varius reasons, when cold, when inside tight buildings, or when using in my shop to lift and set things such as a tractor cab back in place. Second why the anoying puase when I move a joy stick I want things to happen not wait till I'm over the edge or hitting something.… more

Appreciate the feedback on batteries! They are an easy item to overlook, but very important. First, batteries have to be placed next to the starter to provide maximum current. Also, customers have told us over the years that the batteries typically only need to be be accessed at periodic maintenance intervals and we think they’re in the right spot to address that need. However, we’re always looking for ways to improve our single-side ground-level serviceability while also recognizing the potential for theft — so we’ll continue to monitor the situation and customer input.

Add 360 degree lighting
We run these machines around the clock sometimes and lighting the loader sides would be nice as well as more to the front and rear. Would be a great upgrade opition when buying new.

Keep it simple.
Not everything needs to be electronic. I'd like to be able to fix it myself, maintain it myself, and run it myself. Keeping things simple, keeps cost down.

bigger backhoe then the 110.
bigger backhoe then the 110 something like the kubota m59 8,344LBS 12ft digging depth 59hp hst transsmission. Front loader high height for six and tamdem dump trucks. A backhoe with more digging forces and loader forces but something a 1 ton pickup can handle.

Take the 35D Mini Exc and add more breakout force and more horsepower
I love my machine but I get into a lot of jobs that are perfect for the size of the 35D but require just that little extra from it. Another 3-5 horsepower and extra breakout force and this machine couldn't be beat!

KMDI – We hear you. There has been a lot of conversation on this site about ways to improve the 35D and other mini excavators. We’ve passed all of these ideas along to our design teams, but we want to hear more! We’ve set up a new forum on the site for excavator operators to give their feedback. Visit the new forum at http://bit.ly/lgIp6K and keep those ideas coming. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your suggestion, Jeff! The grader team at John Deere is already looking at adding climate control. We truly believe that a more comfortable operator is a more productive operator. Thanks for the feedback, and please keep it coming. Ideas like yours helped us launch the new G-Series Graders, and they’ll help us design the next generation as well. Watch the G-Series Graders story here and let us know if any other ideas come to you http://bit.ly/oMkmsy.
