Thanks for your suggestion, Jeff! The grader team at John Deere is already looking at adding climate control. We truly believe that a more comfortable operator is a more productive operator. Thanks for the feedback, and please keep it coming. Ideas like yours helped us launch the new G-Series Graders, and they’ll help us design the next generation as well. Watch the G-Series Graders story here and let us know if any other ideas come to you http://bit.ly/oMkmsy.

Gp motor grader: electric joysttic: no hydrolic sound . Fine grade pro operator wants hydro sounds
Hydrolic sounds (syntetised digital sound from radio speaker that could be turn On/Off) would give back that lost sens that CAT And John deere didnt give importance.
Exemple: when a pro operator check the right side of the blade and want to do a correction on the left side without having to look at it, the Sound would give him the feeback of how much force he pushed the joystic.
A another way to increase prodution of the Gp serie

GP Motor Grader : Holding (Auto) button 3 seconds should be a programable fonction.
Holding the right or left button 3 or 4 second shoulds bring the slopes info into the Deere computer screen because it's important to know the Mainfall Info when you check the slope on all the 30 feets long of the machine. It could be program for other finction too like Slope memory's or other infos.

Gp motor grader. Holding (increament & decreament) button for 3 seconds should record blade slope
Gp motor grader. Holding (increament & decreament) button for 3 seconds should record blade slope actual position into the desired slope. Instead of pushing the button 40 times to go back from 6% to 2% every times.
Every pass that we start would faster and production capability of the GP would increase directly.
Just send us an update

772gp Blade cutting edge works best with 10 ''
It comes with this
14 Ft. x 27 In. x 1 In. (4.27 M x 686 mm x 25 mm) with 8 In. x 3/4 In. (203 x 19 mm) Cutting Edge and 5/8 in. (16mm) Hardware
BUT the circle is not paralell to the ground with that specification, it's is better with a 10'' cutting edge! now you dont need to compensate when turning the circle.

A more accurate circle rotation sensor for GP model
The actual circle rotation sensor of the GP motor grader does not work well with 3D UTS Machine control. when the Mainfall sensor is more than 10 % hills, the rotation sensor doesnt give enough precision to make the accuracy (10mm) of the slope controlled sides .
So a new rotation sensor model more accurate and more tight would be important for those who work with Trimble 3d or Topcon 3d control.
That's an emergency!

GP hydrolic Coil Valve problem
the Calibration of the the right and left blade cylinder in the GP have to be done every day in Fall and Spring time in Quebec (Canada). Beacause Hydrolic fluid temperature is not constant like in summer time.
You calibrate the valve at 135 Deg F, that's good for the all the summer time because every day, the fluid climb to this exaxt temperature.
But, when it's Fall season, the outside temperature is colder and the hydrolic fluid dont climb to a constant degre.
So in Fall''season and Srping season, you have to re-calibrate the valves every day , and… more

Would like to see a full width rear window shade on the G series
Graders - Would like to see a full width rear window shade, also try mounting a light on the top of the lift cylinders...it makes a world of difference, also rear back up lights could be outside or on top of the frame to give clearance around the rear ripper.
