Improve the EH hydrulics and engine air filter precleaner
My 332D hydrulic and drive controls are way to slow to react. I payed alot of money to get joysticks and wish I now would have not. First thing every thing is extremly slow at lower engine speeds. I dont't want the engine at 2800 RPM for varius reasons, when cold, when inside tight buildings, or when using in my shop to lift and set things such as a tractor cab back in place. Second why the anoying puase when I move a joy stick I want things to happen not wait till I'm over the edge or hitting something.… more

Make the coupling system stronger on CTL's to handle the forces they put on them.
The power of the new skid's and CTL's is nothing short of amazing but it doesnt do a operator any good if it cant be used without breaking the machine. The coupling system on the CTL is just to weak to handle the forces from lifting, prying, and backblading. Over and over again the same part breaks at a cost of close to a thousand dollars, the dealers tell me "dont do that with the machine" how about we just make the part a little stronger so we dont have this problem. Its the last weak link in your skids… more

A 4000lbs lift 130HP skidsteer with a longer wheel base than the 332D
It sounds like you need a whole new level of power. Tell us what type of work you are doing on your job site? What equipment are you currently using to do the job?

Put a bigger engine in the 332D Skid steer.
The small 3.0 5Cyl. engine is nice in the smaller machines but the low end power and reserve power are just not there. This engine relies way too much on turbo boost to do its work. The 332d should have been mated to the 4045 engine This would have also cut down on fuel consumtion Im shure. If guys at Deere can't get a clue on this get your self in an old Case 95XT and have your way with a dirt pile,I dare you to try it at half throttle or less that 3.9 cummins will wake up and… more

-4045 common rail engine, more efficient hyd. cooler, have the aux. hyd. NOT affect bucket, boom and drive hyd.
-bucket cylinders in boom integraded, not beside.
-new unbreakable quik attach with looking pins coming out sideways, like some wheel loaders
-able to customize hyd system more, have bigger touch screen
-have hyd. quick couplers facing down 45 degree (less quick coupler wear)
-now with the new pressurized cab have the side windows again out side the cab for easer cleaning
-rear lights included in fan grill, so engine hood could be lower for better vis.
-led work lights
-satelite /… more10 votes -

have all wheel steer for skid steers an option
we all spend a lot of money on new tires so have it an option that you can have all wheel steer on the 332d

320D needs improved lighting close to machine.
Lighting is inadequate short distances from the machine with boom raised and backdraging with rubber tire scraper or large bucket

Use electric fans on AC condensor
The hydraulic fan on the D-series skid steers is nice. However, if the machine happens to have an air conditioner, the fan will kick to high speed as soon as the AC is turned on. Either use small electric fans on the condenser or use larger condenser coils so that the fan speed can be reduced.

How about an option for poly fenders on D-series skid loaders. It would save a lot of debris from building up on theflat engine side shield
How about an option for poly fenders for d-series skid loaders. It would save a lot of debris from building up on the flat spot of the engine side shields, the weights, and under the boom esp. in messy conditions.

put mirrors on skid loaders
i had an experienced operator back into a pole because he couldnt see it today, something as simple as a panoramic mirror or side mirror would minimize accidents.

Bring back the roll up door
I liked the roll up door on the a series skid steer but it sucked for getting in and out and having to close the door every time to get the park brake. Takeuchi makes a good roll up door, why cant you.

Make box blades for skidsteers/CTL
I took a 3 point box blade and welded a skidsteer plate on. Works great for grading but it would be really nice if it could tilt left and right

We hear you loud and clear, Charlee. We are currently relocating several of our switches to be more accessible to operators while they are using our joysticks. That’s because customers like you have told us: “The more functions available closer to the controls, the better.” One issue with moving the park brake switch, however, is that moving it too close, or placing it on the controls, could lead to inadvertent activation and an unsafe situation. So, we have to balance the two needs — convenience and safety — but you’ll definitely see control changes on the next generation of skid steers. Thanks, and keep sending feedback our way!
